Example Search: Finding a Marine Conservation Project
> Step 1: Familiarise yourself with the projects section
- Notice the activated tab "Search" at the top of the page.
- Below find the search bar and several filters.
- The main part of the page (under the Search tab) is the table presenting information on projects entries.
> Step 2: Use the search bar
- In the search bar at the top of the Projects page, type "Marine Conservation."
- Press Enter or click the search icon to initiate the search.
> Step 3: Apply search filters
- To refine your search, use the filters below the search bar.
- Select the following filters for this example:
- Start Date: 2023, May
- Lighthouse: Baltic and North Sea
> Step 4: Review search results
- Browse through the list of projects that match your search criteria.
- Look for a project titled "Monitoring System for the Archipelago Sea" and note the brief description and associated tags.
> Step 5: Access project details
- Click on the "Monitoring System for the Archipelago Sea" project title to view more details.
- On the project details page, review the project objectives, key milestones, involved stakeholders, and available resources.
> Step 6: Save the project
- If you want to keep track of this project, click the "Bookmark" on the top right on the project details page.
- You can access your saved projects later from your profile under the "Saved Projects" section.
Tips for effective project searches
> Use specific keywords related to the project’s focus area for better search results
> Combine multiple filters to quickly narrow down the most relevant projects
> Check the “Overview” tab for updates and new insights on the projects database
